Physical, Occupational, and Speach Therapy

Oak Grove Manor offers a wide selection of therapies to help residents who need a little extra help. Whether for rehabilitation or personal welfare, we contract with several Home Health organizations in the area to ensure all our residents needs are met. If therapy is needed, you choose the Home Health company you would like to provide at no cost to you. Everything is billed through Medicare, Medicaid, the Older Americans Act, the Veterans Administration, or private insurance.

Types of therapy:

Physical Therapy For the treatment of disease, injury, or deformity by physical methods such as massage, heat treatment, or exercise rather than by drugs or surgery.

Occupational Therapy A form of therapy for those recuperating from physical or mental illness that encourages rehabilitation through the performance of activities required in daily life.

Speech Therapy Training to help people with speech and language problems to speak more clearly. As the needs of our resident’s change, they may need more help to improve their overall wellbeing and we are here to assist you in finding the right treatment.

As an Assisted Living Community, we also offer Palliative and Hospice care for those in the end stages of life. This way we can keep from transferring residents to nursing homes or Hospice facilities away from their normal environment. Our local Hospice providers are fully licensed to ensure comfort and hospitality to each of our residents in need. A Hospice group is available with a team of doctors, nurses, and aides ready to assist physically, mentally, medicinally, and spiritually during this time. Palliative care is usually the initial start before Hospice and involves treatment for a specific diagnosis. This allows for when Hospice is needed, they know what to provide your loved one during their final stages of life. You get to choose the Hospice of your choice, and everything is billed through Medicare, Medicaid, the Older Americans Act, the Veterans Administration, or private insurance. This way you get to enjoy more time with your loved one as possible and not have to worry about expenses. We do our best to ensure quality, comfort, and care to your family as they were ours.
